Pilot Iroshizuku Yu-Yake is a bright orange ink from Pilot Iroshizuku's line. The specifications of the ink are as follows:
Review:
Pilot Iroshizuku Yu-Yake is a bright orange ink that is one of the more intense and colorful Iroshizuku inks. It comes in a decorative 50 milliliter bottle that will last for months, even with frequent use. The ink itself looks slightly red, but as it moves back and forth it leaves a more orange hue on whatever material it is encased in. This causes the ink to have a unique look in the bottle and demonstrator fountain pens. The pictures in this review show Pilot Iroshizuku Yu-Yake used in a TWSBI Diamond 580AL fountain pen with a broad nib on a Rhodia notebook sheet.
While the ink may be too bright for use in professional settings, it flows smoothly, dries relatively quickly, and does not have any sheen or particles that could clog a fountain pen. It can be paired with demonstrator pens (such as the Twsbi Diamond 580AL in Lava Orange pictured) and non-demonstrator pens with ease. It is relatively easy to clean from the pens, as long as it has not stayed dormant in a pen for months at a time.
For the aforementioned reasons, Pilot Iroshizuku's Yu-Yake ink is recommended by Lion Stationers. It can be purchased from the following vendors:
