The All Smart Life Mechanical Gaming Keyboard has been working consistently with daily use over the past year. The keys feel solid and secure, but there is a distinctly loud "click" emanating from them; thus, while it sounds akin to writing with a typewriter, these keys may be too loud for public or office use. The customizable backlighting is a useful and simple feature - press FN+--> (right arrow on keyboard) to scroll through the backlighting options. To increase or decrease the brightness of the keyboard, simply press FN and either the up or down arrows to scroll through the keyboard brightness options.
Aside from the loudness of the keys (which is standard for many mechanical keyboards), another negative aspect of the keyboard is that to use the F fuctions (volume, home page, email, etc.) you must push FN first. This is not too difficult to remember, but the keyboard would be easier to use if the volume keys could simply be pressed without needing to press FN first. This may be symptomatic of the keyboard being a gaming keyboard rather than a standard keyboard, and it is not too salient of an issue.
