Ready Player One is a science fiction novel by Ernest Cline. A film adaptation was released on March 29th, 2018. The book's back cover synopsis reads as follows:

Ready Player One was a New York Times bestseller. The book won the Alex Award from the Young Adult Library Services Association in 2012, and it also won the 2012 Prometheus Award. Ready Player One has been translated into 20 different languages. It was also nominated as one of America's best-loved novels by PBS's "The Great American Read."
