San Jose Sharks 10, Minnesota Wild 0 (Game 69)

The Sharks (67-1-0) returned to the Shark Tank in San Jose to face the Minnesota Wild (34-27-7) for their fourth meeting of the season. The Sharks had won all three previous contests. 

San Jose Sharks vs. Minnesota Wild (Game 3)

During the first meeting of the season, in San Jose, the following players were selected as three stars of the game: 
​
3) Teemu Selanne (SJ) registered one goal, one assist and a +6
2) Patrick Marleau (SJ) registered a hat trick, zero assists and +3
1) Marco Sturm (SJ) registered a season-high three goals, two assists and +5

The Sharks outshoot the Wild 34-14, with Evgeni Nabokov registering a shutout for the 8-0 victory. 

San Jose Sharks vs. Minnesota Wild (Game 23)

The second meeting of the season between these two teams took place in Minnesota. The following players were selected as the three stars of the game: 

3) Brad Stuart (SJ) registered one goal, zero assists and +1
2) Patrick Marleau (SJ) registered one goal, zero assists and +1 
1) Evgeni Nabokov (SJ)  registered 20 saves on 20 shots 

The Sharks won the game 2-0 but shots were even at 20-20. 

Minnesota Wild vs. San Jose Sharks (Game 50)

The third meeting of the season between the Sharks and Wild took place back at HP Pavilion in San Jose. The following players were selected as the three stars of the game: 

3) Patrick Marleau (SJ) registered one goal, one assist and +1
2) Evgeni Nabokov (SJ) registered 25 saves on 26 shots (96%)
1) Marco Sturm (SJ) registered two goals, one assist and +2

The Sharks defeated the Wild 9-1, converted on 3/5 powerplays, and outshot Minnesota 36-26. 

Tonight's Game: Minnesota Wild vs. San Jose Sharks (Game 69)

The fourth meeting of the season between the Wild and Sharks again took place in San Jose. 

Teemu Selanne opened the scoring in the 1st period for San Jose, followed by Patrick Marleau and Lynn Loyns, as the Sharks took a 3-0 lead into the 2nd period (despite being outshot 12-10 in the 1st period). 

The second period saw Mike Rathje score in the first minute of action, followed by powerplay goals by Patrick Marleau (his second goal of the game) and Adam Graves, as the Sharks extended their lead to 6-0 heading into the 3rd period. 

The third period saw Sharks goals by Teemu Selanne and Marco Sturm, as well as two goals by Adam Graves to give him the hat trick. The following players were selected as the three stars of the game:

3) Patrick Marleau (SJ) registered two goals, one assist and +2
2) Adam Graves (SJ) registered three goals, zero assists and +3
1) Teemu Selanne (SJ) registered two goals, three assists and +4

The Sharks outshot the Wild 35-22 and converted on 2/3 powerplays. Evgeni Nabokov registered his third shutout against the Wild in three contests, giving the Sharks a 10-0 lead, their largest margin of victory via shutout this season.
